Describe yourself and your project. How did you get the idea?
Snabbostad.se is a service to help people get apartments in Stockholm without having to stand in the queue. This is done by automatically scanning the net for and messaging people about new “first-come-first” serve apartments. I didn’t get the idea but one of my partners who knew about the problem to get an apartment in Stockholm told me it could be a fun thing to do to learn Python.
Who are you? Previous education/jobs/ experiences etc.
I am a masters student studying my last year, I like technology and building stuff and have become more interested in business and entrepreneur things lately. I have previously had summer internships and done extra work programming as well as built some android apps. Other than that I am a guy who likes to party, be with my girlfriend and friends and watch too much tv.
What will you do during these three months? How will you spend the time?
The original idea was to continue to build on the technical things and also start the service in Gothenburg and Malmö. But since only I got leapfrogs and not our non technical partner I am choosing to focus on the “soft” side of the service. Writing better texts on the webpage, constructing better ads and marketing.
What do you expect to achieve during Leapfrogs?
I hope to get over 100 paying users per month, I hope to perfect the texts on the website, fix the few technical bugs we still have left, become better at managing my own time, learn google analytics and google adwords and how facebook marketing works. I also hope to have lots of fun and learn from the other leapfroggers.

Tell us what you have done on your project so far during the Leapfrogs time.
Thus far I have fixed a couple of technical bugs on the website and also added a new rental company to the ones that we monitor. I have worked on the facebook page, trying to get more likes to find more people. Together with one of my cofounder I created a simple logo, and I have worked on the ads on google, both the text and the keywords and pricing.
Has everything gone according to the plan? Has anything unexpected occurred? Has something been easier/harder than expected?
Most things have gone according to plan, we have found some bugs at our payment solutions site which is not that great, but they have fixed those bugs. We had some growth in june which was unexpected since our thought was that most people did not look for apartments during the summer, something that seems to be untrue. It has been even harder than expected to try and coordinate our work since my two partners are working summerjobs / doing their thesis and are not in Lund.
What will you focus on during the remaining time? Will you follow your original plan or has anything changed along the way?
I will continue to focus on the “soft” side of the work, trying to improve the design, ads, seo, facebook and other marketing while also doing day to day business as taking calls and emailing customers and potential customers. I will hopefully be able to check on how paid facebook marketing works, something we have not yet done. Hopefully we will get a better system on how to manage who does what, because that would probably improve things.
